New York State Senate Confirms Bill Myers to the Board
of the State of New York Mortgage Agency
Bill Myers was nominated by NYS Governor David A Paterson and confirmed by the NYS Senate as a Director of the Municipal Bond Bank Agency. MBBA fosters and promotes the provision of adequate capital markets for, and facilitates borrowings by, the State's municipalities for their public improvements or purposes; assists those municipalities in fulfilling their needs for improvements by the creation of indebtedness; and further, encourages continued investor interest in the purchase of bonds or notes of municipalities as sound and preferred securities for investment. MBBA purchases delinquent tax liens from municipalities in the State of New York and issues special school purpose bonds. Appointment Certificate
